I was born in 1959 and grew up in Carinthia and Salzburg, Austria. I’m happily married and have two wonderful children, as well as two adorable grandchildren who keep life exciting.
After completing my education, I went on to study mechatronics. Throughout my career, I have been passionate about electronics development and have worked across a wide range of fields, including power electronics, microcontrollers, RF technology, and audio engineering.
About 25 years ago, I took the leap and co-founded my own company with a partner. Since then, I have combined my enthusiasm for development with the challenges and rewards of running a business.
Today, I am retired, but in Austria it is possible to continue working, which allows me to stay professionally active and involved in projects that interest me.
I’m naturally curious, and since the world is full of fascinating things, I’ve picked up quite a few hobbies along the way.
Living in Austria means being surrounded by incredible landscapes. Hiking through these beautiful regions — usually together with my wife — is, for me, a perfect way to recharge and a constant source of inspiration.
Music has always played an important role in my life. When I was younger (and still had long hair!), I learned to play the guitar and even performed in a band.
Another passion of mine is amateur radio (OE2KHM).
